Fall and Spring Org Fair

September 10th, 2019

The Organization Fair is an annual program that provides Hamline student groups with an opportunity to share their organization with the campus community. Each year over 600 Hamline students and many community members attend the Fair. It is the perfect way to attract new members and renew the interest of returning members. Space for groups participating in the Fair is limited. Student organizations must have a representative attend the Student Organization Leader workshop to participate in the Fair.

Family Weekend

November 8 - 10, 2019

Join us for a weekend of activities during our Annual Family Weekend, November 9-11, 2018. This program provides an opportunity to invite the families and friends of students back to campus for a taste of college life.

The Dean of Students is excited to invite you to campus for our annual Family Weekend program. Family Weekend provides the families and friends of Hamline students an opportunity to experience campus life. It is a great way to spend time with your student, visit with University faculty and staff and explore and enjoy the Hamline community. Activities for the weekend have historically included opportunities to cheer on Piper Athletics, the Annual Fall Concert, the opening of the 88th theater season, a chance to experience the co-curricular community, and more.

Women's Leadership Retreat

  • Application Open: TBD

The Women's Leadership Retreat is a weekend outing designed to promote social consciousness, self-awareness, and leadership skills in emerging and established female student leaders. This retreat also explores the issues facing women as they lead and discuss potential strategies to overcome these obstacles. Any Hamline undergraduate student, regardless of gender identity or leadership experience, can apply to attend the retreat. Space is limited.

On this retreat participants will begin a life-long journey of self-nurturance and leadership development while examining the various relationships in our lives: both the relationships with ourselves through means of mediation, self-reflection, and health and the relationships we have with others (friendship, occupational, and media-based relationships).

The Women's Leadership Retreat is a small commitment of time in which you will not only learn something about yourself, but also have a chance to think about your next steps as a student leader. The retreat is also an opportunity to network with other leaders on campus and share experiences.

The application will be available mid-February.
